Event Rewind: Lucia Perillo

Posted by wastatelib on October 9, 2007

A big THANK YOU to Lucia Perillo and the over 70 folks we had here last Wednesday night to kick off another season of Washington State Library events!  All of us were thrilled to be able to listen to Lucia read from “I’ve Heard the Vultures Singing” and ”Luck is Luck,” as well as some brand new material.  Many of those in attendance were also able to have Lucia sign her works for them.  Pictures of the event are available through Flickr

If you were able to join to us and would like to leave your review or comment on Lucia’s reading at the State Library, feel free to do so in the comments.

Don’t forget that our next event will take place Thursday, November 8th.   Author Mary Matsuda Gruenenwald will be joining us to speak about her book, “Looking Like the Enemy: My Story of Imprisonment in Japanese-American Internment Camps.” Details can be found here.  See you next month!
